ACTFOR Performance was contracted by UNICEF Afghanistan to serve as the third-party monitoring firm for the WASH programme (Water Supply, Hygiene and Sanitation). The monitoring exercise aims to provide reliable field-level information and triangulate multiple data sources to validate results reported by implementing partners, while identifying critical programme implementation issues requiring corrective action.

Specific activities to be monitored include:

o Construction of water supply system in rural and urban areas

o Rehabilitation of water supply system in rural and urban areas

o Community sanitation/ CLTS

o WASH in Institution (Schools and Health facilities)
